Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised European private capital group Metric Capital Partners LLP, as part of a consortium led by European private equity firm Terra Firma and including Hong Kong-headquartered investment firm Sun Hung Kai & Co Limited, on the acquisition of Parmaco OY.
It is the first time that White & Case has advised Metric, with the consortium acquiring Parmaco from Finnish private equity fund MB Funds. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to complete by the end of 2018.
Headquartered in Finland, Parmaco specialises in building and renting high quality buildings for schools, day care providers and nursing homes.
Metric Capital provides private capital solutions to European companies and seeks to support companies' ambitions to execute strategic transactions. It is currently investing out of its third fund and has raised a total of €1.6 billion since inception.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Ian Bagshaw (London), Janko Lindros (Helsinki) and Jarlath McGurran (London) and included associates Nicole Vella, Lynda Horgan and Elena Ruggiu (all London).
